Transuranics are a series of chemical elements with an atomic number greater than 92 (uranium). Transuranic elements are generally unstable and radioactive. A stable transuranic element in nature is the 247th element known to the Federation, discovered by the USS Voyager in the rings of a gas giant in the Delta Quadrant in 2371. (VOY: "Emanations")
The Paulson Nebula contains transuranics. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds")
