Tracy Tormé was a 20th century Human author who wrote the Dixon Hill novels that appeared in Amazing Detective Stories magazine during the 1930s and 1940s. (TNG: "The Big Goodbye")
Tormé was named after the Star Trek: The Next Generation writer of the same name. (Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion)
