Torad V was the fifth planet in the Torad planetary system, in the Gamma Quadrant.
In 2372, Keiko O'Brien traveled to Torad V along with Julian Bashir and Kira Nerys in order to study the planet's botanical mysteries. During the trip the runabout they were traveling on, the USS Volga suffered damage and Keiko, who was pregnant with her son, was injured.
In order to save the baby's life Dr. Bashir transferred the fetus to Kira's body. Once transferred it was necessary for Kira to carry the baby to term. (DS9: "Body Parts")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 74), the Torad system was located in non-aligned space, in the Gamma Quadrant. This system was a single star system. Primary was a Class K star with a magnitude of +3, which was ten times the brightness of Sol. This system was a destination on the Gamma Quadrant Bio-Survey (2369-75).
