Tom Jackson (born 27 October 1948; age 64) is the actor and singer who appeared as Lakanta in the Star Trek: The Next Generation seventh season episode "Journey's End" in 1994.

He has recorded over thirteen albums and produces an annual Christmas charity event, the "Huron Carole". His many television appearances include Shining Time Station on the Public Broadcasting Service, Sesame Street, and he is best known in Canada for his ongoing role in the drama series North of 60 in the 1990s.
