In 2364 Toki held the rank of commodore and was assigned to the Starfleet Advanced Technologies Division.

During Toki's assignment at this division, the commodore sent a mission order to Captain Arrat of the USS Ticonderoga with the subject being the Mark 25 warp sensor trials. (TNG: "Conspiracy")
