Tohvun III was the third planet in the Tohvun planetary system. This was a neutral planet located near Cardassian space.
In 2369, when Captain Picard was interrogated by Gul Madred, Picard demanded a neutral observer as laid down in the Federation-Cardassian peace treaty of 2366. Madred claimed they had already sent a message to Tohvun III to send an observer. (TNG: "Chain of Command, Part II")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 47, this planet was located in a binary star system near the Argolis Cluster, in the Alpha Quadrant. Primary of this system was a Class G star. It had a magnitude of +1, which was 100 times brighter than Sol. Stellar companion was a Class F star.
