Thomas Raymond was a 24th century Human, born on September 27, 2329. He was the fifth great-grandson of 20th century Clare and Donald Raymond, whom he strongly resembled. His parents were Andrew Probert Raymond and Monica Clee Raymond. His brothers were named James and Robert.

In 2364, he lived outside Indianapolis on the North American continent on Earth. His exact address was 4877-234 Indiana Park, Indianapolis, North Am, Earth.

At the time he was a professor of exosociology at Indiana State University. He was married to Louise Mary Raymond and had two children: Carolyn (born September 17, 2351) and Jack (born July 11, 2354). (TNG: "The Neutral Zone")
