Template:Realworld Thomas Kopache (born 17 October 1945; age 78) is one of a handful of actors to appear on all four of the Star Trek TV spin-offs. His largest role was as Kira Nerys's father Taban, appearing in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's fifth and sixth seasons. He is one of only five actors to play seven or more different characters in the Star Trek franchise, the others being Jeffrey Combs, Randy Oglesby, J. G. Hertzler, and Vaughn Armstrong.

Beyond the realm of Star Trek, Kopache has had recurring roles on The West Wing and Boston Legal. On the latter, he plays a judge opposite William Shatner and Rene Auberjonois. Kopache also appeared as a judge in the CBS drama Close To Home. The episode that he guest starred in also had Connor Trinneer guest starring and Star Trek: Voyager star Roxann Dawson directing.

Kopache guested on Babylon 5 with Andreas Katsulas, Caitlin Brown, and Bill Mumy.
