Thomas J. "Tom" Embree, also known as Thom Embree, worked in the camera and electrical department of three Star Trek productions. He was a lighting technician on Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and Star Trek: Insurrection and an additional electrician on the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Desert Crossing".

Other projects he worked as electrician, technician, and best boy on include the comedy Harlem Nights (1989), the comedy Stuart Saves His Family (1995), the thriller Twilight (1998), and the comedy series The Trouble with Normal and One on One.
