Tholian silk was a rare and prized cloth, produced by the xenophobic Tholians.

Benjamin Sisko managed to obtain Tholian silk for Kasidy Yates in 2372. In order to acquire the silk, Sisko had to call in a favor from a Tholian ambassador. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")
