The Valley was a region on Beta III.

In 2267 a landing party from the USS Enterprise claimed to be from "The Valley", a notion seized on by resistance member Reger as an explanation for their unusual conduct during the Festival. Hacom was not convinced, and believed the strangers were not of the Body. He summoned lawgivers, forcing the landing party and Reger to flee. (TOS: "The Return of the Archons")
