Background Information

  • This issue (and the next one) is inspired by "The Trouble with Tribbles".
  • Scotty's meeting with Kirk and Spock is expanded to mention his pet tribble seen only in the background of the movie. Scotty mentions he bought it off a dealer named Jones and is meaning to send it to his nephew Chris (presumably a reference to Chris Doohan).
