While reviewing the altered timeline on his tricorder in 1930, Spock happened across the article taken from a February 1936 issue of The Star Dispatch. In it, he found Edith Keeler on the front-page, along with an article that featured her meeting with President Franklin D. Roosevelt. (TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever")
