The Saloon was a San Francisco bar established in 1861, and still existing in 1986. It was located at number 1232.
In 1986, Sulu, McCoy and Scotty walked past it during their mission to save the whales. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home)
The Saloon is a real bar, the oldest in the city, and is known for its blues concerts. It is located at 1232 Grant Avenue, at the corner of Fresno Alley (Grant ave is the street in which Sulu, McCoy, and Scott stand in the picture).
