The Romulan Star Empire is the title of a book available on Earth sometime after the mid-22nd century about the Romulan Empire.

In 2152, while Jonathan Archer was taken to the 31st century by Crewman Daniels and the two were trapped in an alternate future, they explored a nearby library. Surprised to find books on paper, The Romulan Star Empire was one of the few books Archer looked at while Daniels searched frantically to find something that could help him figure out what was wrong. Before Archer could take the book off the shelf, Daniels pushed it back in, telling him, "Maybe you shouldn't be looking at that." (ENT: "Shockwave, Part II")
