Persistence of Memory

The Persistence of Memory

Template:Disambiguate The Persistence of Memory was a 20th century painting by Salvador Dalí. The painting depicted soft melting pocket watches.

The Persistence of Memory was one of the pictures in Kivas Fajo's collection he kept aboard his starship, the Jovis. (TNG: "The Most Toys") Unfortunately for Mr. Fajo this is a copy and not the true original. The actual painting is only 24 cm × 33 cm (9.5 in × 13 in) in size and the one shown in the episode is much too large.

The Dali Paradox was named after this famous painting. (VOY: "Relativity")
