Texas was a region located on the Gulf coast of the North American continent of Earth. This was a state in the United States of America. This state was bordered by Oklahoma to the north, Arkansas and Louisiana to the east, Mexico to the south, and New Mexico to the west. The cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and Lubbock were located in this state. The two-letter code for this state was TX.
In the year 2000, a company based in Texas funded the project to build the Millennium Gate, buying properties in Portage Creek, Indiana for twenty percent over market value around the proposed construction site. (VOY: "11:59")
