Texas was a region on the North American continent of Earth and a part of the United States of America. It was one of the largest states of the United States of America and bordered the neighboring country of Mexico.
In the year 2000, a company based in Texas funded the project to build the Millennium Gate, buying properties in Portage Creek, Indiana for twenty percent over market value around the proposed construction site. (VOY: "11:59")
Riley Frazier was a Texan in the 24th century, proud of the early Texan settlers whom she considered as her ancestors. The bluebonnet, the Texan state flower, was her favorite flower and typical Texan barbecue was her favorite food. (VOY: "Unity")
