Terrence O'Connor is the actress who played Chief Ross in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. To date, this has been her only known feature film appearance.
The majority of O'Connor's credits are television guest appearances. In 1973, she and fellow Star Trek performers Paul Comi, Robert Pine, and Meg Wyllie guest-starred in an episode of Cannon caleld "A Well Remembered Terror". O'Connor followed this with two appearances on Emergency!, a medical drama which featured Vince Howard as a regular cast member. Further TV appearances include an episode of Ellery Queen with Janet MacLachlan, two episodes of Quincy, starring Robert Ito and Garry Walberg, an episode of The A-Team with series regular Dwight Schultz and fellow guest star Marc Alaimo, and an episode of St. Elsewhere with series regulars Chad Allen, Jeff Allin, Ed Begley, Jr., Norman Lloyd, Deborah May, Brian Tochi, Alfre Woodard, and Jane Wyatt.
More recently, she appeared in the Melrose Place episode "Michael's Game" (1994) with Famke Janssen and the ER episode "The Match Game" (1996) with Bill Cobbs, Megan Gallagher. She also had a role in the 1996 made-for-TV movie Norma Jean & Marilyn, starring Ashley Judd and Paul Sorvino's daughter, Mira. This movie's cast also included Jeffrey Combs, Steven Culp, and John Rubinstein.
