The Terikof belt is an asteroid field located in the Badlands, beyond the Moriya system. Several of the planetoids were Class M and the Maquis used them as hideouts during the early 2370s. In 2371, the belt was the predicted destination of the Val Jean prior to its disappearance in the Badlands. (VOY: "Caretaker")
