A temporal inversion is a type of major temporal incursion.
Captain Kathryn Janeway once caused a temporal inversion in the Takara sector, one of three major time travel incidents in her career that Captain Braxton had to repair. Janeway did not retain any memory of that event in the normal timeline. (VOY: "Relativity")
- This may refer to the USS Voyager's aborted quantum slipstream flight in 2375, which in an alternate timeline resulted in the ship's destruction in the Takara sector. However, Janeway played no visible role in changing that event, which was averted by future versions of Harry Kim and Chakotay.
