Seriously, pictures that we feature on the main page should have some minimum standard of quality, or something. I really don't think this represents at all the best, or even the good, of MA. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 16:56, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

I absolutely agree with OuroborosCobra. I'm not a prude, but MA has a diverse audience spanning people of varying ages and sensibilities, so this is not a good choice of picture to be displayed on the main page (displayed, as it would be, to everyone who comes to MA, without their having any choice in the matter). For every person who finds this picture hillarious, there will be another to whom (or to whose parents, or culture, or spiritual beliefs) it is distasteful. The lack of a nomination process for PotD goes hand in hand with a responsibilty for self regulation, so let's do the sensible thing and replace this picture with something less divisive! --Taduolus 10:33, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
