Ted Scott (15 December 191328 October 1999; age 85) was an actor who played Eraclitus in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "Plato's Stepchildren". He filmed his scenes on Monday 9 September 1968, Tuesday 10 September 1968 and Tuesday 17 September 1968 at Desilu Stage 10.

Scott worked on many different stage playes in the 1950s and early 1960s at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Milburn, New Jersey including "Kiss Me, Kate", "Brigadoon", and "Can-Can". He was married to his wife Margaret until her death on 14 October 1979.

Following his appearance on Star Trek, Scott also guest-starred on a couple of television series including The Partridge Family (1970), Hawaii Five-O (1971-1976, starring Jack Lord and guest starring Mark Lenard, Anthony Zerbe, Amanda McBroom, and Henry Darrow), Quincy M.E. (1978, with Garry Walberg, John S. Ragin, Robert Ito, Byron Morrow, Bob Harks, and Victor Toyota), and The Associates (1979).

Scott died on 28 October 1999 at the age of 85 in Redlands, California.
