Tammeron grain was type of food-grain.
In 2374, Deep Space 9, under the joint control of the Cardassians and the Dominion, was expecting a freighter loaded with Tammeron grain. (DS9: "Favor the Bold")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 47, Tammeron was the name of a star system in the Alpha Quadrant. The primary of this system was an K-type main-sequence star.
