Changes: Talos I

Talos I was the first planet in the Talosian system located within the Talos star group. This small planet was located over one astronomical unit from the binary stars Talos A and Talos B. (TOS: "The Cage", "The Menagerie, Part I", production art)

The location of the Talos system in the Milky Way Galaxy was depicted on the "The Explored Galaxy" star chart in 2293. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, production art)

On the "The Explored Galaxy" star chart, the Talos system was located between the Tholian Assembly and Romulus. According to dialog in DS9: "Call to Arms", the two were Alpha Quadrant powers.

According to Star Trek: Star Charts (pgs. 40-41, "United Federation of Planets III"), Talos I was classified as a B-class planet. In 2378, Talos I was located in or near Federation space, in the Alpha Quadrant.
