Who does Winona Ryder play?Edit

Are we sure Winona Ryder will be playing Amanda Grayson? The last news reports I heard said that J.J. Abrams was going to make Spock's mother a Vulcan(something which shocked some of the fans, for sure), but has there been something more recent to indicate he's changed his mind on that? A few news sites have incorrectly stated that Ryder will play Spock's Vulcan mother. This is because the writers of those news stories didn't do their homework and assumed Spock was a full Vulcan. --From Andoria with Love 21:05, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
