Two comments, first, is Tyree as seen on DS9's "Shadows and Symbols" Vasquez Rocks? It does look like it to me. We don't see the big slanted rocks, but the others look familiar.

Also, on the spoof sections, The Big Bang Theory episode "The Bakersfield Expedition" featured Vasquez Rocks. While not actually shot there, they used green screen to give the illusion of the characters being there. They went to visit it on the way to a convention and visited it in TNG uniforms.
