Ok, i just finished watching Tuvix, and at the end, they beam him apart into Tuvok and Neelix. They stated earlier in the episode though, and this was the whole point of how and why it happened in the first place, that they were merged with alien orchids. So at the end, why didnt they beam tuvix into Tuvok, Neelix, and a flower, also wearing an operations uniform, in between them. Or did they just leave the plant genetic material in both of them?--Cyno01 16:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- It's one of those instances where having something like that happen would be too confusing to those people who don't actually care that much. :P – – Tranchera 14:48, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
You know a summary is bad when a bio on the central person is in better detail than the general episode summary. --Lord Hyren 21:20, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I removed the following note, that has lacked citation for over a year now:
- UPN had issues with the ending to the episode, and wanted Tuvix to willingly sacrifice himself in order to bring back Tuvok and Neelix. Michael Piller managed to persuade the network that the episode would have no impact if it ended with Tuvix surrendering his life without a fight, and the ending remained as originally written.
