Michael Shanks?Edit

This was added to the talk page earlier today by an anon:

According to rumors, Tobin Dax was due to appear in an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise. Stargate SG-1 actor Michael Shanks, who was famed for playing Dr. Daniel Jackson on that show, was the fans' favorite to portray Tobin. Interestingly, Shanks had also auditioned for the role of Shinzon in Star Trek Nemesis but lost out to Tom Hardy.

Looking around online for some stuff to back this up, and hopefully a chance to reword it to avoid the use of "rumors" "fans' favorite", etc, I discovered that this information can be found on a number of wikis, generally with the following wording:

He also auditioned for the role of Shinzon in Star Trek: Nemesis and was a fan favorite to play the role of Tobin Dax on Star Trek: Enterprise (although it is unknown if he was ever actually approached for the role).

And when I say "generally", I mean... always. Identical wording. Everywhere. However, it can't be found anywhere else as best I can tell. So, without something to actually back this up, I've moved it here, and if it gets re-added, I do think that the bit about "fan favorite" should definitely be removed. -- Sulfur 17:20, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
