I removed the following information:
- It was later discovered that the whole empire had been wiped out by an entity calling its self the O after its agents had failed to subvert the society to its needs.
It comes from the Q-continuum trilogy (Q-space, Q-zone, Q-strike).
Moving Planets vs. Stars Edit
I question the statement in this article of: "The Tkon had the ability to move entire star systems, using planets as outposts for defense." My recollection is that they could move planets, not stars. Can someone verify which is the case? Aholland 03:47, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi, It is true that they could move stars, as mentioned in Season 1 Episode 5: The Last Outpost in The Next Generation. Moving the stars would actually move the etire solar system like a Tank, and the outposts being the guns.
- We can't be sure that it wasn't just a myth. After all, nobody asked the portal if it was true. If it really was, you could theoretically hook up a pair of massive warp engines to the power produced by the star itself and get the star to move faster than light. But then you have to wonder why they didn't just get rid of their original star, bring in a new one and move all the planets back into place. Or just evacuate their home planet to another solar system. Still, it could be just a myth.--Indefatigable 00:08, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
Spelling Error Edit
It's "T'Kon", not "Tkon". Bell'Orso 11:38, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
