Irish Wake? Edit

"At the end of the episode, Dax is shown explaining the concept of an Irish wake to Worf; he has apparently forgotten that he and O'Brien discussed the concept in "The Ship", when Worf compared it to the Klingon ritual of ak'voh (though he remarks here that it "sounds almost Klingon")."

I've removed this note. There is no mention of an Irish wake in "The Ship". The final scene between Worf and O'Brien doesn't refer to any particular tradition, as talking to the deceased is no more of an Irish tradition than it is a Brazilian one, or Australian one etc, and there's no specific connection between talking to the dead and Irish wakes (and trust me, I'm Irish, and I know dead people, so I know these things!) – Bertaut talk 03:49, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Jem'Hadar at Quark's? Edit

At the beginning of episode, 1:14, aren't those Jem'Hadar soldiers coming in to Quark's? Just having a drink? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Atis (talk • contribs).

Nope, those are Kressari. --OuroborosCobra talk 02:03, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

Les Maîtres du temps Edit

This episode reminds me strongly of "Les Maîtres du temps".--DarthVader talk 02:03, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

Darwin's Radio Edit

I removed the following note for lacking citation:

  • Despite the similarity of the storyline to Darwin's Radio, Moore maintains that he had not read the book at the time that story was being considered.

I think it is highly unlikely to be from a valid source because:

  • The plot doesn't sound anything like Darwin's Radio.
  • The book came out a year after this episode. Not surprising that Moore hadn't read it at the time then...

Quark's Crystals Edit

When Quark is trying to get rid of Odo to allow his deal to go through, he mentions over the com to his contact not finding crystals at this price anywhere in the quadrant. Is this a reference to a similar scam Quark tries to play on Harry Kim in the first episode of Voyager (Caretaker)? Unless I'm mistaken, this is almost the same quote he uses there.
