I don't think the teaser should stay capitalized. I'd like it changed back. -- Captain M.K.B. 17:10, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
- You might not like it capitalized that way, I personally think that it looks stupid, but that's the way that it is capitalized on the cover, so that should be the way that it stays. After all, we don't choose how to capitalize anything else, so we shouldn't choose this either. -- Sulfur 22:22, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Contrary to that, i've actually found its better to characterize non-titular statements with proper grammar and formatting rather than honoring any variant capitalization that occurs. Its not a new idea. -- Captain M.K.B. 07:13, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'd like to know where this ends personally. Are we going to make decisions on how things should be capitalized? In this case, what is written there is a direct quote. Hell, the thing being quoted is pictured immediately beside the quote. I can understand your example of the comedy club, but I'm not totally convinced on the BURGERland vs Burgerland name. In that case, it seems to me that the places' proper name is actually BURGERland. Again, this seems to me to be one of those things that we arbitrarily decide upon, and seems that it can extend to anything that we kinda disagree with. As in, "oh, they did or said something grammatically incorrect, so we'll fix it for them, since we know what they really meant."
- I reiterate... it's a quote. It should stay the way that it is presented. -- Sulfur 10:48, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
I still disagree. Its not arbitrary, I've always converted blurbs to proper arrangements, and consider it my "standard procedure" to always do so (always doing something the same way is the opposite of arbitrary) -- remember also that most of the cover-texts are all-caps, but I don't recall seeing any of them entered as all-caps, by you, or anyone. The way you suggest is quite different from many, many of the comic and novel articles I've worked on, so I'm not sure what to do at this point, as I'm not willing to go back and change the bulk of the title sections I've worked on, nor am I really convinced that I should. -- Captain M.K.B. 21:12, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- To my mind, if they're mixed case, they should stay as is. If they're in all caps, then we should make them legible. But by putting things in mixed case, that strikes me as something intentional. Maybe that's just me though. -- Sulfur 21:36, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
