:::::I think the DVD info for ENT Season 1 may have been deleted because of possible "spoilers", as the set hasn't been released yet. I think your info on DS9 DVDs has quite extensive information on the special features. An idea - why don't we have a DVD section, like the books department we have already? We could cover subjects like Special Features and list Seasons, arranged in the order they are in on the DVDs? --[[User:Defiant|Defiant]] | [[User talk:Defiant|''Talk'']] 17:28, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)

==Legal questions==

Any legal researchers have a reference to the Star Trek copyright cases? Did Paramount just threaten people, or is there an actual court case? Paramount couldn't actually "copyright" the episodes in 1978, since they'd been published in 1967; any notices claiming 1978 copyright dates are simply fraud plain and simple. They might have *registered* the copyright in 1978, perhaps; it would be worthwhile to get some more specific information on this.

Revision as of 04:20, 16 October 2007

The episodes are not listed per air date. Should we list them by production number instead? Ottens 13:03, 1 Aug 2004 (CEST)

I support ordering by production number Airdate is accepted in some chronologies, but I feel it betrays the creator intentions, since there are some things that are continuous from week to week (crew extras, uniform details/changes) and mixing them up into NBC's rather judicious and arbitrary reordering just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But then, I've been working on unnamed crew extras and uniform details lately, so I guess I'm the only one who is noticing these things.... --Captain Mike K. Bartel 15:19, 1 Aug 2004 (CEST)
Since the NBC isn't the only station airing these episodes, and they don't have any kind of monopoly over it, I dont's see wat their airing dat has to do with StarTrek in the first place. I support ordering by production number. -- Redge 16:04, 1 Aug 2004 (CEST)
I agree - order by production number. --Defiant | Talk 06:36, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)

New format

I'm adding episode browser templates to replace the ep list here; i'm adding a PNA message because i think there is a lot more content possible in the "season" pages than just a duplication of the main article's list. -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 23:49, 26 Mar 2005 (EST)

What could be added to the information about DVDs? Which disc episodes are on? Details of special features? --Defiant | Talk 06:36, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)
That's what I did on the DS9 season pages. I did the same on the Enterprise season 1 page but it was reverted. --Rebelstrike2005 17:11, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)
Why was it reverted? --Defiant | Talk 17:17, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)
I'm not sure. What do you think of the DVD info on the DS9 season pages?Rebelstrike2005 17:18, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)
