pna-inaccurateEdit

The article Tuvok states that Tuvok's mother was not canonically named T'Meni. If that is correct, this page should be moved - if not, that statement should be removed from Tuvok. -- Cid Highwind 23:27, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)

I don't see where it says that, but T'Meni was named indirectly. Tuvok's grandson Sek had a child named "T'Meni (infant)" who was named after Tuvok's mother, meaning his mother's name was T'Meni. This was all given in "Hunters".--Tim Thomason 01:10, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)
I believe the article is correct, in fact, I worked on it adding to its content at some point-- however, I am not sure about the Yorktown ref, I thought it was Tuvoks father who served on it, not both of his parents. Either way, it should be disambiguated. --Alan del Beccio 03:34, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Evidently a second page was already created, which I didn't realize Tim mentioned (in congnito) in his post (link since removed). I've updated both pages according and moved the latter T'Meni to T'Meni, daughter of Sek (from "T'Meni (infant)") to conform with the naming conventions used with numerous Klingons. As far as the non-canon ref to her name has been corrected. --Alan del Beccio 04:28, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)
The exact line, courtesy of Jim's Delta Blues's review: "The most significant news is the fact that your first son, Sek, has gone through the Pon Farr. He mated and has become a father. You are now the grandfather of a healthy female who they have named T'Meni, after your mother'." Neelix read this from a letter Tuvok had received from his wife. -- Miranda Jackson (Talk) 07:10, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)
A day late and a dollar short... ;) I was never confused, however, what was confusing is that a second T'Meni page was created, but the original still referenced two as if a second page didn't exist. --Alan del Beccio 07:51, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)
