For some reason no one has her birthdate; I found a reference that incorrectly had Nov. 30,1999. (Possibly 11-30-1969?) Ironic because of the reference to her being "too young" for the "Capt. Janeway" role, and yet she was easily believable as a seasoned D.A. on "Crossing Jordan" just a few years later.
- There are 13 listings for a "Susan Gibney" at Birthdatabase.com. The closest that comes to the November 30th date is "Susan J. Gibney", born November 28, 1952. There is also a record for a "Susan J. Gibney", born November 26, 1951. It is unknown, though, if either of these – or, indeed, if any of the thirteen records – are the Susan Gibney we're looking for. --From Andoria with Love 19:43, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Other Star Trek connectionsEdit
According to her interview with StarTrek.com, Gibney also auditioned for Yar, Troi, Seven, and the Borg Queen -- in fact, was Frakes' choice for the Borg Queen. As with Janeway, though, Paramount said no. Apparently her role as Benteen was her consolation prize for not getting those roles. Powers (talk) 14:05, March 30, 2014 (UTC)
