Most of the star links are to stars that I don't think deserve their own article because they're only conjectural from the system name (which most times is only conjectural from a planet name), and so I suggest the following way to attach system names to their stars and unlink to stars we know nothing about:

• Aldebaran (Alpha Tauri)
• Alpha: Alpha system
• Alpha Centauri (Rigil Kentaurus, Toliman): Alpha Centauri system
• Altair (Alpha Aquilae): Altair system
• Alture: Alture system
• Amargosa: Amargosa system
• Angel: Angel system
• Angosia: Angosia system
• Antares (Alpha Scorpii): Antares system
• Antede: Antede system
• Antos: Antos system
• Arcturus (Alpha Bootis): Arcturus system
• Argelius: Argelius II
• Atrea: Atrea system
• Azati Prime: Azati Prime system

I'm trying to cut down on superfluous stub-sized __ system articles (see Ten Forward), so known stars will probably (slowly) lose their system links. The unlinked conjectural names may stay though, IMO. -- Harry 16:05, 8 Jan 2005 (CET)

I'm not sure I am keen on this, there are several listed on the Memory Alpha:List of unwritten star system articles page and so far I have found that none are actually "real", so to say. For example, the Angosia system may be the name of the system containing Angosia III, but that is just speculation. So why support that speculation by creating a superfluous system article? --Alan del Beccio 18:59, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Eta, if someone were looking for Alpha Carinae, and didnt know it was called Canopus, i'd like to leave it in the list since both names work and are findable. thanks. -- Captain Mike K. Bartel
