how many, if any, of the ships in the book have NCC numbers listed for them? -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 16:39, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)

No one has NCC number (even NCC-1701 doesn't appear), that's why I didn't put any. But some of these ships were republished in the 4th book Starships (Decipher) (still in work) whith much more background and NCC numbers. There are still little background (mission, captain) that can be found in this book for certain important starships, but most of time, it's a simple list of ships (USS XXX, USS YYY, USS ZZZ).Philoust123 17:09, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I have that book -- i've been taking notes from it now and then when cleaning up non-canon RPG articles. I like th format, even if the graphics are cheap. -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 17:33, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I've all the Decipher books and I made a complete listing of all the UFP starships on Excel (USS or ... / name / NCC or ... / Number / Class / Years /Type / Episodes and sources / Crew / History), which enables me to make these article rapidly (by using filters : source = "RPG Decipher 3" & class = "Miranda" for example => Then I simply copy the informations ; official informations are colored on my file so I know which are referenced here or not).Philoust123 11:44, 30 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • Unlike 'true' Trek references I dont think we need to create articles for every individual involved in this sort of material. Seeing that we just VFD Christian Moore and Jeannie Glover, the potential exists here to face this again. So just how many of these people exactly even qualify as individuals we would write articles about? Especially under the circumstances of the material? Limit it to the authors and illustrators or what? --Alan del Beccio 23:29, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
