It's not the features that are going to be different. TrekCore has reported that there will be differences in the film aspect. For the domestic release, the scenes specifically shot for IMAX have been cropped to fit the rest of the film. However, in Germany, they may be getting the film with the IMAX scenes in full aspect. And, the decision to do this may be not be fully Paramount's fault. Word is that Bad Robot had a hand in this fiasco. Something about Star Trek being in JJ Abram's world, and Parmount not wanting to challenge Abrams. Different Versions

Well, Paramount or Bad Robot or both have made our lives difficult. Not only are there different versions in the United States - with 5 at last count, but there are country to country differences as well. I am not sure how accurate this article will be when all is said and done. For instance, the version in Australia will have the deleted scenes and bloopers and easter eggs, while a version in Germany will have most or all of the special features. The release has been given a real thrashing by some critics due to this, such as by The Digital Bits. Anyone else think we should note this in the article? StalwartUK 13:56, August 30, 2013 (UTC)
