Music in the SF street scene
Edit
When we first see the crew walk the street of SF, we hear contemporary 80s pop music, but I am unable to find the title & artist anywhere on Memory Alpha. What was it? Thanks. --K. Shinohara 23:40, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
To quote Odo when stuck in a Cardassian turbolift: Well??? --K. Shinohara 14:22, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Did you check the credits, or email the composer? --Alan del Beccio 21:45, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Or check Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (soundtrack) (where this question actually belongs, since this has nothing to do with the year "1986" in canon, it isn't like Admiral Kirk could hear the music). Based on that article, I'd guess that it is one of the arrangements by the Yellowjackets. --OuroborosCobra talk 04:03, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Reused material?
Edit
According to Wikipedia (uncited), Rosenman reused elements from his score for Ralph Bakshi's animated Lord of the Rings. I can hear the similarities, but does anyone know of a source for this? —Josiah Rowe 03:48, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
