Drydock and Spacedock are used to describe the same thing, so there's no reason to have two pages for the subject. Drydock can just redirect to Spacedock. - Archduk3 11:59, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not entirely convinced on this, since drydock seems to be the term used for facilities that build/repair/refit starships where as spacedock seems to be a place simply for starships to dock after a mission. -- TrekFan Talk 13:21, January 21, 2011 (UTC)
Not according to the definitions currently on spacedock - apparently, that term was specifically used to describe locations to repair or otherwise maintain ships. However, given the amount of text on either page, it might be best to check with the source first, before merging two articles while we don't know if the terms really are totally synonymous. -- Cid Highwind 13:40, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

From what I can tell, only TMP and "Relativity" actually use the term drydock. All the rest seem to be spacedock in the scripts, so it does seem the two terms are interchangeable. TMP actually uses drydock for the station as well, so it's not like some distinction was used between the two different structures even then. - Archduk3 00:49, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

New info: NAR-30974 was labeled as a "Starfleet drydock" in Generations, but the script refers to the same structure as a "Spacedock" in both descriptions and dialog. Unless there's some reference I'm missing where a distinction was mentioned between the two, it would seems that the terms are interchangeable. - Archduk3 18:35, March 28, 2011 (UTC)
