I think it's supposed to be named "Slusho!" (with exclamation mark), or at least that's how the brand has been refered to in the background material for Cloverfield. - I absolutely agree that the script should ultimately be followed (and I doubt O&C will have bothered with a confusing exclamation mark), but in the absence of that piece of evidence, we should go with our best guess at how the spoken word translates into a written term. Since this is clearly a homage and not a coincidence (like Amanin), I think the most logical way to spell it like the writers intended it is the same way we handle historical mentions. i.e. looking up what the "real" spelling is (even though our universe and the star trek universe are not the same), rather than mindlessly transcribing the sometimes unintuitive pronunciation and scrubbing it off as another difference between the real world and star trek in the style of "no real khan in 1992". -- Capricorn 22:06, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
