I have never heard of Sisko and Bashir developing this anti-shourding weapon. Is this some DS9 episode I've never heard of (which I didn't think existed), or is this non-canon info? Jaz 01:56, 10 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Benjamin Sisko and Julian Bashir developed a means of detecting the Jem'Hadar when they employed the shroud. It was a small device that fit inside the ear. The device detected the slightest shifts in air density, and much like a bat, would provide a pitch that increased as the Jem 'Hadar came closer, which the Human brain translated as direction and distance information. In short, anyone wearing this device could effectively "see" the Jem'Hadar.

This device, called the "Sono-Detector," virtually nullified the Jem 'Hadar's shroud ability. However, the Founders and the Vorta diligently worked on ways to overcome Sisko's device, but did not succeed prior to the Dominion's downfall.
