Number of Generators?

From the way it reads, do starbases, space stations, and starships use more then one generator? If this is so, perhaps it should be mentioned as such? --Terran Officer 02:24, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

That's what it sounds like to me. In the scripts for TNG & DS9, they always used the plural form, except once for a federation outpost on Calder II which apparently used one generator. (TNG: "Gambit, Part I")

What's not clear is how many are on a ship. It's not mentioned in the TNG Technical Manual. Psydev 07:37, March 14, 2012 (UTC)
