Dominion occupation

Was there ever any mention as to where the runabouts were during the 3/4 month Dominion occupation? -- Rebelstrike2005 22:26, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

    • Yeah, seen as Sisko had Ops sabotaged before he left, I doubt he would leave three functional Starfleet vessels for the Dominion to capture and study. They most likely left DS9, possibly for Bajor at first, just before the Defiant left to join the fleet.

Delta flyer

The Delta Flyer I and II are actually runabouts and not shuttles. Should they be listed here? --Slamlander 14:41, 8 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • Though the Delta Flyer is larger than the normal shuttle, it was not considered a Runabout on air. Thus it is known as a shuttle. - Adm. Enzo Aquarius 14:48, 8 Oct 2005 (UTC)
    • Is there a canonical reference for that? I don't think they ever reference the Flyer as a shuttle. Cannons go "BOOM"! 07:08, 11 Oct 2005 (UTC)
      • Well they definately didn't refer to it as a runabout, and in "Extreme Risk" the initial reference made by Paris in regards to the vessel, called it a shuttlecraft." The rest of the time it was just referred to as a "shuttle". --Alan del Beccio 07:22, 11 Oct 2005 (UTC)
        • That does it for me :) If a canonical reference calls it a shuttlecraft then a shuttlecraft it is. I'll take a peak at that episode. Cannons go "BOOM"! 07:38, 11 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • Someone does refers to the Flyer (opening a hail) as "the Federation ship Delta Flyer" at one point. Technically-speaking, it has more in common with a runabout than a shuttlecraft. Perhaps, just as a runabout is smaller than a starship but larger than a shuttle, the Flyer is smaller than a runabout, yet still larger than the typical shuttlecraft? CNash 00:58, 21 Dec 2005 (UTC)
