First human on MarsEdit
In One Small Step, Chakotay mentions her name, alongside Neil Armstrong as a pioneer. Which seems to suggest that Rose Kumagawa was the first person to walk on Mars. However, I can't be certain of that, since he also lists John Glenn as a pioneer. Who wouldn't fall into the category of a pioneer, from an international standpoint, as he wasn't the first person in space. The remark about Glenn could of course, be a mistake made by the writers. I once saw Jay Leno credit Sally Ride as the first woman in space (in reality, the Russians sent a woman into space two decades before Ride went into space). – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Coq87rouge (talk • contribs).
