Having read through the final draft script of TAS: "Mudd's Passion", I've come to the opinion that a much more suitable name for these creatures would be "rock beasts". In the script, the lifeforms as commonly referred to as "beasts," and there's one reference to both the aliens as "rock beasts" (a far less generic name). --Defiant 06:13, December 31, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I meant to suggest "rock beast"; I was a bit too tired, and made the error of proposing the plural form. "Rock beast" is what I'm suggesting; it's a lot more accurate for how they are described in the script. --Defiant 13:44, December 31, 2011 (UTC)

Possibly. Regardless, I reckon it'll be a good idea to have each of the two pages (Rock beast & Rock Man) have the usual "If you were looking for..." blurb, so they both open with a redirect to one another! --Defiant 02:14, January 1, 2012 (UTC)
