CIAEdit

  • Before becoming a screen writer, Sabaroff was a CIA agent, having been recruited, he said, for his "fluent Spanish and propensity for high-budget bar fights" as a student at the University of Pennsylvania. Sabaroff decided the CIA was not for him after a mission in Cuba, and was mustered out of the CIA through a position at the Rand Corp. in Santa Monica. In subsequent years, while writing for TV, he also freelanced intelligence missions, e.g. joining the team of agents assembled by Robert F. Kennedy to investigate the assassination of JFK.

I removed the above as uncited and of little Star Trek relevance. --31dot 22:57, July 12, 2010 (UTC)

The poster of the above information contacted me and stated that Mr. Sabaroff told them this information. Is there any way to confirm any of this with something citeable?--31dot 01:52, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

Beyond submitting a Freedom of Information request to CIA, the only other thing I can think of is checking the already declassified information at the Library of Congress. If he really was one of the people on the JFK investigation, it will either be fairly easy, or nearly impossible, to find something with his name on it. - Archduk3 02:29, July 13, 2010 (UTC)
...or you could just type "Robert Sabaroff JFK" into Google, you know, what ever floats your boat. :p - Archduk3 03:00, July 13, 2010 (UTC)
I'm the one who provided the information about Bob's life before Hollywood. Bob was one of my dearest friends. What I wrote is what Bob told me. Jane Birnbaum The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.204.70.204 (talk).

I'm sure you can understand that as an encyclopedia, especially an online one, we cannot just take your word for it.31dot 00:06, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
