I question the POV of this article. --GNDN 17:11, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Explain. Which POV? Real world vs ST universe? The manner in which it is written? More details dude. :) -- Sulfur 17:46, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Since you asked...:) I understand that the evolution of the special effects for TMP was difficult, but the article is slanted against Abel & Associates without 1) citing any sources, or 2) making any effort to present Abel's side of the story. When I first read the article, I wondered who Abel would sue. Perhaps I am over-reacting, but this stub is more opinion than fact. --GNDN 18:00, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

And now that Shran's revised it, it should be better. I hope. :) -- Sulfur 18:28, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

It is certainly less inflamatory, but the question of sources gnaws at me. Please understand that I am as guilty of this failing as anyone, but I am concerned about the general lack of citation in "real world" articles. Many fans know about the TMP production problems, so much so that sourcing an article might seem redundant. But if our goal here is to create a comprehensive and credible research work --one that can be used by anyone regardless of their stake in the franchise-- then citation is vital. --GNDN 18:56, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Agreed. Do we have a standard for citation of a not-in-universe article? MLA citation? Or what? -- Renegade54 19:14, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
I've not seen any consistent citation style here, so it may be worth bringing up in a forum, settling on a standard, and going from there. -- Sulfur 19:24, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
