Tactical alert to Red alert
Edit
check Enterprise, Season 4. At least in two episodes there are quite clear imagines of displays showing "Alert condition red" --– The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.10.45.235 (talk).
- Could you specify the episodes, please? --From Andoria with Love 09:39, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- In ENT: "Singularity", it is hinted at that Lieutenant Reed had developed the term red alert, as it was jokingly referred to as "Reed alert". It was never mentioned again, but tactical alert screens all over the ship later displayed "Alert Condition Red".
- I removed this, as I've been looking and haven't seen anything close to Alert Condition Red on a screen on either Enterprise or Columbia NX-02. - Archduk3 05:28, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's at least worth mentioning. The term "Reed alert" was pretty clearly meant to convey that Reed's new protocol would later become the "Red alert". Unfortunately there's no canonical continuation of this thought, so even if there's no way to verify that Reed alert did in fact become Red alert, at least it was the first Starfleet use of this type of general-readiness protocol. If there's no disagreement on this, then a modification of the earlier section should be added to reflect this similarity. 96.252.169.163 04:04, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
Cleanup
Edit
This article requires cleanup, the paragraph at the bottom hasn't got an episode link, when it's obvious it should have. --Jono R 22:50, March 20, 2010 (UTC)
