AM RadioEdit

I suggest this be merged with radio. The different frequencies can be explained on that page. --From Andoria with Love 02:03, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Agree with merge. Kennelly 15:21, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Agree with the merge, although I would note that the differences between AM and FM are far greater than just frequency. --OuroborosCobra talk 15:23, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Agree with merge. --GNDN 18:01, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

PNA Edit

This article needs attention in several ways. First, it is just a collection of unconnected facts at the moment, in need of a thorough copyedit. Second, there seems to be a wrong assumption about "radio" necessarily referring to broadcasting (instead of radio as in "walkie-talkie") in some cases. Last but not least, there may be some incoming links that should go to individual "radio technology" articles instead, or where the technology should at least be mentioned on this article. One such case is Dreman/Sarjenka, one of which has a redlink to radio frequency transmitter while the other one pipelinks to this article using the title RF transmitter. -- Cid Highwind 10:21, November 17, 2011 (UTC)

Perhaps this article should be limited to mentions of the actual device, and references to radio broadcasts should be in another article. Either that or a separate section in this one. --31dot 15:56, February 12, 2012 (UTC)

Radio Wave redirecting to this page Edit

Why is radio wave being redirected to this page? A radio wave is not the same as radio. One is an electromagnetic wave, while the other is a device that transmits radio waves.Throwback (talk) 10:54, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

It looks like this article is trying to be two articles at the same time; I would not oppose an effort to separate the two subjects. 31dot (talk) 19:38, October 13, 2013 (UTC)
This has been done. PNA removed. -- sulfur (talk) 13:40, October 17, 2013 (UTC)
