I think they were speaking of the in-universe sense, given that they said "22nd century" (it's 23rd, of course). As for the what, I'd suggest quartz. It can't be put in the article, but Iowa has lots of quartzite and geodes, and quartz is useful in high technology. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 02:38, January 3, 2012 (UTC)
